What is the use of DateValue function?
Converts a date represented by text to a serial number for a date.
Note: To view the serial number as a date following are the steps.
a. Select the cell(which contains serial number)
b. Goto Home tab
c. Goto Number Group
d. Go To Number tab.
e. Select date from the category
f. Select the date format from the Type and then Click Ok.
What is the syntax of DateValue function?
DATEVALUE(date_text)
Where date_text: is text that represents a date.
