AVERAGEIF Function in Excel find the Average of all numbers in a range based on a given criteria


What is the syntax of AVERAGEIF function?

AVERAGEIF Function in Excel - Syntax

AVERAGEIF( range, criteria,

[average_range] )

range: range of cells that you want to check the criteria
criteria: condition which you want to apply
[average_range]: range of cells to find average based on criteria, if it is missing it will consider the first rang as average_range
